About us

The Railway Service Commission, Guwahati was established in 1978. It was later renamed as Railway Recruitment Board, Guwahati in the year 1985. It is functioning under administrative control of Railway Recruitment Control Board, Railway Board, New Delhi.

Jurisdiction and Function      

The Railway Recruitment Board, Guwahati has been assigned the task of undertaking the recruitment of Group "C" staff in technical and non-technical category for   following units of N. F. Railway:

            N. F. Railway Headquarter, Maligaon,
            Lumding Division,
            Tinsukia Division and
            Rangia Division

Organization

Railway Recruitment Board, Guwahati is headed by Chairman and assisted by an Assistant Secretary. The names of the present incumbents are as follows -
